Macrais develops and manufactures electric motorcycles in the UK using components from companies such as QS and Brcmbo.

Unlike many electric electric mopeds and motorcycles that use 18650 lithium ion cells, Macrais have chosen fixed prismatic "pouch" batteries in 3 capacities:-

90ah providing up to 65 miles of range

120ah providing up to 90 miles of range

180ah providing up to 130 miles of range

Charging time is 5 hours from the integrated 3.3kw charger and the battery has a 3 year warranty. An optional upgraded 6kw charger cutting that time in half is alway available.

The bike has 17" wheels with a QS 8kw hub motor in the rear on a single swing arm providing a maximum power output of 19kw giving a maximum speed of 85mph. The bike has Brcmbo brakes (Dual discs at the front)

This bike is an L3e (125cc Licence) and hence can be ridden from the age of 17 with a CBT or greater licence.
