This is the L3e (125cc Licence) version of the G5 capable of 50mph and up to 70 miles range. These are imported in to the UK by Lexmoto.

Powered by 2 x 72v 20ah removable battery with 18650 cells, it can be charged from a 13amp plug from flat in about 6 to 8 hours. Unlike many electric mopeds with 2 batteries, the Yadea 12amp charger does include a splitter allowing both batteries to be charged off the bike at the same time. With the exception of NIU, other brands would require 2 chargers for simultaneous charging off the bike

The centrally mounted motor has up to 4.1kw of maximum power (3000w base) with a maximum top speed of 50mph allowing this bike to be ridden from 17 years old with a CBT. For this bike, Yadea have moved from a hub motor to a centrally mounted one with the end result that this bike does make noise when ridden.

It has both front and rear ventilated brakes on its 12 inch wheels and a large clear 7" display showing all the pertinent information.

The bike does qualify for the OLEV Government Grant making it one of the most affordable 50mph electric mopeds around.
