Lexmotos first electric style motorbile is their badged version of the Cineco City Slicker.

Out of the box this is a 28mph (L1e) 1.5kw electric moped category bike that can be ridden from the age of 16 or on a CBT.  The stated maximum power is 4kw and this is one of the few bikes that can be easily de-restrictable to over 40mph.

Its 1.76m in length and weighs 100KG with a maximum carrying capacity of 150kg (foot pegs are provided for a passenger). Seat height is 74cm.

Unlike many other electric bikes, its belt driven (Gates Powerlink GT3 belt) and sits on 12" alloys wheels (Front: 110/70-12, Rear: 120/70-12) with disc brakes and features regen to recover some of the energy from braking. While most belt/chain driven bikes do make some noise, this is remarkably quiet when riden.

The Cypher has a single 72v 26AH lithium-ion battery which is removable but is locked in its side compartment. The stated maximum range is 50 miles and takes between 6 to 8 hours to charge from flat.

It has LED lights and comes with an alarm and usb charging port and a small storage space for a mobile phone etc.

It is on the UK OZEZ Grant meaning it comes with a 2 year warranty on the bike and 3 years on the battery.
